down and out

my computer has been down for sometime now. but thank goodness it is in the process of being fixed and we should have it back in a few days. dwight is very cool to take care of it for us as i just can't find the time. so yay i'll be able to dull you into my world once again, in a few days. i hope you and your family are feeling better with the events that have taken place in the past few weeks. our love it with you and we pray for the healing you need. anyhow, i'll call you soon and hopefully will have new and exciting posts for you to read! love. =^..^=

liberty

everyone has their own idea of it. yet everyone takes it for granted. well, maybe not everyone. there are always exceptions, even when the sign says "no exceptions". here we are able to say, feel, believe, and think what we want and yet there are officials in the government that are always tempted to place more and more laws on the nation, always forgetting liberty. as you travel the world you slowly begin to realize our country is the only one where people can be who they are, even if they have to fight for it a little. fight society, government, family, friends, and themselves. your faith in humanity can easily be restored when you see, first hand, the trials and suffering other countries endure in this day and age. of course it could just as easily squash your faith in humanity. americans have entitlement issues though, and that seems to get in the way of everything. liberty is very much bittersweet. and now i find myself wondering where my liberty is as i fight traffic to try and make it for the last hour of stanton's birthday party, only to be bitched and moaned at because we were late (even though we are staying for the evening.) strange. happy 4th. =^..^=
